Warranty Terms and Conditions

These warranty terms and conditions apply to all products and services provided by Well Handled Development Pte Ltd as outlined below. The warranty only applies to products and services purchased and installed directly from Well Handled Development Pte Ltd or authorized dealers. Any claims made under this warranty must comply with the specific terms and limitations described for each section.

1. Window Rubber Gaskets

Warranty Coverage:

Well Handled Development Pte Ltd offers a limited warranty for window rubber gaskets / seals for a period of 1 year from the date of installation. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Exclusions:

  • Damage caused by improper use, mishandling, or installation by unauthorized personnel.
  • Natural wear and tear, including weather-related degradation over time.
  • Chemical exposure or damage caused by environmental conditions, such as extreme heat or cold.

Warranty Claim:

In case of any defect within the warranty period, Well Handled Development Pte Ltd will replace or repair the rubber gaskets at no additional cost. Labor costs associated with replacing the gaskets may notbe covered if the warranty period for labor has expired.


2. Silicone Sealant Work

Warranty Coverage:

Well Handled Development Pte Ltd provides a warranty on silicone sealant work for leakages for a period of 1 year from the completion of work. This warranty guarantees that the sealant will prevent leakages in the area it was applied.

Exclusions:

  • Sealant failure due to structural movements, settling of the building,or shifting of windows.
  • Any damage caused by external factors such as impact, accidents, or natural disasters.
  • Use of harsh chemicals that degrade the sealant.

Warranty Claim:

If leakage occurs in the treated area within the warranty period, Well Handled Development Pte Ltd will reapply or repair the silicone sealant at no cost to the customer. This does not cover any damages to property resulting from leakages.

3. Hardware (Such as Window Hinges, Closers)

Warranty Coverage:
Well Handled Development Pte Ltd warrants that all hardware components such as window hinges and door closers will be free from manufacturing defects for a period of 1 year from the date of installation. The warranty covers the functionality of the hardware under normal use conditions

Exclusions:

  • This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear or damage resulting from misuse, lack of maintenance, or incorrect installation.
  • Damage due to unauthorized repairs or modifications.
  • Environmental or chemical exposure leading to corrosion or rusting.

Warranty Claim:
If any defect arises within the warranty period, Well Handled Development Pte Ltd will repair or replace the defective hardware. Any associated labor costs may not be covered beyond the standard warranty period.

4. Replacement of New Glass

Warranty Coverage:
Replacement glass is covered under a limited warranty for a period of 1 year from the date of installation. This warranty applies to new glass installed by Well Handled Development Pte Ltd and covers manufacturing defects such as cracks, fogging (in the case of double-glazed units), or imperfections that impair normal function.

Exclusions:

  • Damage caused by external forces, such as impacts, accidents, or mishandling.
  • Any glass failure due to structural movement, building settling, or inappropriate installation by unauthorized personnel.
  • Scratches, minor visual imperfections, or other cosmetic damages after installation.

Warranty Claim:
In the event of a valid claim, Well Handled Development Pte Ltd will replace the defective glass unit. This warranty does not cover labor costs associated with the removal and replacement of glass after 1 year from the date of installation.

General Exclusions and Limitations

  • The warranty is void if any product or service has been altered, modified, or repaired by unauthorized personnel.
  • This warranty does not cover damage due to natural disasters, fire, acts of war, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • Well Handled Development Pte Ltd is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages arising from defects in products or services provided.
  • Warranty service is only available within the geographic area covered by Well Handled Development Pte Ltd or its authorized agents.
